MULLENLOWE BRINDFORS RETURNS TO SWEDISH OWNERSHIP
After 25 years of international ownership, one of the most famous Swedish agencies MullenLowe Brindfors, has been bought by Johan Öhlin and Jonas Dahlquist. They have acquired MullenLowe Brindfors with the vision of creating an agency where creativity and data are combined in a unique way.
Jonas Dahlquist, currently CEO of media agency Starcom, will take on the role of CEO of the new agency and Johan Öhlin, currently account director at MullenLowe Brindfors will become COO. Both have a long history as entrepreneurs in advertising agencies like TBWA, Le Bureau and Saatchi & Saatchi.
The Agency will be known as Brindfors MullenLowe, and will be an affiliate to the MullenLowe network and continue to be a hub in the Nordics for international clients.
“We’ve both known that agencies today are shaped by current needs. After working in parallel for many years and having talked about how we should combine our experiences, we now finally have the chance to create an agency where media, public relations and advertising come together. All in combination with one of Sweden’s strongest brands – it feels incredibly exciting” says Jonas Dahlquist.
